This ribbon yarn felt nice in the knitting. I liked the way that it laid flat on my picking/throwing finger most of the time. There didn't seem to be uncontrolled twisting like I remember with another ribbon yarn.

Please note that it is very easy to poke your needle tips through the ribbon. My only other concern would be the pooling of the silver stitches. I counted the plain stitches between and got 32, 39, 40, 35 stitches; this was enough to congregate most of the silver stitches to one side of the swatch for those rows. Depending on the width of your project, you may want to alternate between two balls when using this yarn.

Swatch: Longtail cast on, 20 st.
k,p repeat, three rows, then stockinette:
*p row, k row*

Katia India preblockPreblock-->
With size 8 needles:

4-5/8"(W) x 2-1/2"(H)
12rows/2" --> 24rows/4"

Soaked in cold water and a little dish soap. No dye run. Rolled in a towel and then patted out to dry.

Katia India postblock

<--After Block:
4-1/2"(W) x 2-5/8"(H)
11rows/2" --> 22rows/4"

Woo, I got gauge! I think I might be happier if I had pinned this out to dry; it curled up a bit and doesn't look as neatly turned out as the pinned-out preblock swatch. Other than that, I would say there was no real change in the feel or look of the swatch.

I find a couple of the colors rather sophisticated; they just aren't colors I would wear.
